1. Will UTR Tournaments have combined BOYS/GIRLS divisions?  
   Sometimes - depending upon registration numbers and levels, at these ages and moving into high school they will be asked to play mixed doubles and compete for District, Regional and State titles - so we encourage both young men and young women to learn to play each other and more importantly, work together, and develop crucial communication skills now. 
2. How do you divide draws/UTR's in your tournament?
   I have developed a system that takes into consideration the UTR, past match experience and blends both into what should be competitive matches for the players every single time they step on the court.
3. Can we get our money back after registration as we cannot make the tournament?
   The honest answer is - it depends.  Cancellations will be honored 48 hours in advance of the tournament, anything less than that is on a case by case basis approved by Tournament Director at his full discretion.
4. Is this tournament recognized or USTA sanctioned?
   At this time we have no affiliation with the USTA and are not sanctioned by any governing body.  No points will be reported or received for TennisWylie tournaments.
5. Is Coaching allowed during the match by parents or coaches?
   No.  Once a player steps onto the court for their match, no coaching is allowed at all.   
6. How are line calls handled?  The players call lines on their own and in the context of a "Gentleman's Game" of lines are IN, the player puts the opponent before themselves and when both sides do this they both "win".  If both players are unable to come to a consensus on a call one or both can lay their racquet down and find an official.  
7. What about bad line calls or blatant cheating, how do you handle that?
   The players each call their own lines, but if a tournament official notices line calls are incorrect in multiple instances we will follow this guideline: 1st occurrence> warning and counselling on how to call lines, 2nd occurrence> point deduction, warning and further counselling, 3rd occurrence> game deduction, warning and final consultation.  We don't anticipate having these type of issues,   but if additional or blatant disregard for the proper spirit of the game is witnessed it will be dealt with on case by case basis according to Tournament Director's opinion.
