Throughout my 30+ years of playing and coaching tennis racquet technology has exploded. The old metal aluminum frames have transitioned from graphite to carbon fiber, and continue to evolve.
Here are some of my recommendations by level to make narrowing down the search quick and easy. And while I have put in the time and "demo'd" every racquet on the list (and own most of them), I always recommend going and hitting with a racquet before spending $200 or more.
For specific recommendations beyond what I've listed below please shoot me a message or text.

The updated 2022 Ezone series is listed on Tennis Warehouse website and I recommend checking them out by clicking here.
JUNIOR RACQUETS
Additional consideration for younger players are the 26" racquets Yonex has available - check them out by clicking this link.
INTERMEDIATE TO ADVANCED PLAYERS - ALL AGES
The Drive Series for Babolat is outstanding for power and stability on serves, volleys, and strokes. These racquets are easy to maneuver and offer great stability & amazing power on the strokes for intermediate-advanced players.
GRIP SIZES
12 & Under - Grip Size range 4" to 4-1/4"14 & Over - Grip Size range 4-1/4" and up
BEGINNER TO ADVANCED PLAYERS
DEMOS are always available if I am on the court.
The junior 25" & 26" racquets are great, come in 2 colors per size & offer great balance and feel.
The Nova and Elevate racquets from Diadem offer carbon fiber, foam injected frames for stability, power & combined with their great line-up of strings plenty of spin in anyone's game.
Backpacks, T-Shirts & Grip - winning combo!
These type of tennis backpacks are value packed - from racquet specific storage to shoe and wet-item storage - they have it all.
Other brands include Head, Wilson & Yonex.
Playing great AND looking great - well, it's always been my strategy!
I always encourage parents to dress their kiddos for comfort , and having breathable and proper fitting clothing for tennis is key.
Pro Tip: Buy nothing without pockets for tennis for match-play.
The racquet is an extension of the hand/arm/body - the connection point needs to be dry, comfortable and reliable - I've used Yonex brand grips now for the past 6 months .
Other brands I recommend: Diadem, Head or Wilson.
We will publish our 2023 Christmas Gift Ideas starting in October!
