PRIVATE LESSONS | GROUP LESSONS | TOURNAMENTS

Whether your child has just started playing or wants to become a collegiate player, we are able to train them with Private Coaching, Group Lessons or a combination of both.

Private Lessons allow deep dives into stroke mechanics, technique, as well as tactical and strategic development through match simulation.

Group lessons reinforce and "groove in" good technique while providing a fun, friendly, and competitive match scenarios.

We recommend both Private Instruction to solidify technique, tactical and strategic playing patterns to build a solid foundation.  

We recommend Group Lessons for more social, yet competitive situations to utilize and reinforce the techniques, tactics and strategies our players have learned in private lessons.

Additional considerations as follows:

Does your player have solid footwork on their forehand, backhand and understands how to volley?  

If you said yes to some but not all - we recommend private lessons first, then group lessons.

Does your player want to excel in tournament play, move from JV to Varsity or potentially play collegiate tennis?  

If you said yes to any of these - they need private lessons as well as group lessons (as well as playing UTR tournaments).

Does your child want to learn the basics but in a relaxed and group atmosphere?  

Great, group lessons are probably more appropriate - and here at STA we will integrate our methodology early so that the player finds their level of success as quickly as possible.
